How The Studio of Colour and Design by Margie Billian Helps Others

“If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? And if not now, when?” Hillel

On an on-going basis, the Studio of Colour and Design By Margie Billian donates bags containing small bottles of shampoo, conditioners and moisturizers to Interfaith Works in Montgomery County, Md. Many of our clients save their unused hotel goodies and bring them to us. These donations are given to the homeless in our community.
Two other worthy ongoing projects at The Studio of Colour and Design By Margie Billian are:

  • – giving old, yet current magazines to nursing homes and disabled veterans.
  • – All of our old towels are given to the MC Humane Society for the animals in need.

All of these little things add up.

The Studio of Colour and Design By Margie Billian loves to give gift certificates and products to schools, temples, churches and other groups for their auctions.  All you have to do is ASK !!  Previously, the Studio Of Colour and Design By Margie Billian had been a part of salon-a-thons to help raise money for organizations.

ALL of the money went to the organizations.

This year the studio is very excited to be a sponsor for the Day of the Book celebration in Kensington, MD- https://www.facebook.com/dayofthebook -and a platinum sponsor for Jubilee, a community living supports program for adults with developmental disabilities. This year Jubilee will be toasting Congressman Chris Van Hollen. Get in touch with me for tickets or sponsorship! http://www.jubileemd.org/

Peace and  Light,

Margie Billian
